We stand behind what we make. Here's how we handle it when something isn't right.
What We Cover
Every Grithouse tee is printed to order. That means we can't accept returns for sizing preferences or buyer's remorse — but if we made a mistake or your order arrived damaged, we will make it right. No runaround.
Defective or Damaged Items
Printing defect, wrong item, or arrived damaged? Contact us within 7 days of delivery. We'll send a replacement at no cost.
Wrong Item Sent
We packed the wrong size or design? That's on us. Reach out and we'll get the right one out to you immediately.
Size Exchanges
Since every item is made to order, we can't accept size exchanges. Check the size chart before you order — and when in doubt, size down.
Change of Mind
We don't accept returns for buyer's remorse. Once an order is placed, production begins. No cancellations after 24 hours.
Made to order means no inventory sitting on a shelf. Your shirt is printed when you place your order. Because of this, we're not able to do traditional exchanges or returns — but we will always fix a mistake that's our fault. That's the deal.
How to Submit a Claim
- 1Contact Us Within 7 Days
Reach out at grithouse.store/contact-us within 7 days of your delivery date. Claims submitted after 7 days may not be eligible.
- 2Include Your Order Number and a Photo
Send your order number and a clear photo of the issue — the defect, damage, or wrong item. This helps us resolve it fast.
- 3We'll Confirm and Send a Replacement
Once we confirm the issue, we’ll get a replacement printed and shipped to you. No need to send the original back.
Returns FAQ
- Can I cancel my order?
Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of placing your order. After that, production has started and we can’t cancel. Email us immediately at grithouse.store/contact-us if you need to cancel.
- My shirt doesn't fit — can I exchange it?
We can’t do size exchanges since items are made to order. Before ordering, use the size chart on our Product & Sizing page. If you’re between sizes, size down — the DT6000 runs oversized.
- What counts as a defect?
Significant misprints, ink smearing, graphic misalignment, holes or tears in the fabric, or anything that’s clearly a production or shipping error. Minor variations in print placement of less than half an inch are within normal range and are not considered defects.
- Do I have to return the item to get a replacement?
No. For defective or incorrect items, we don’t require you to ship anything back. Just send us the photo and your order number and we’ll handle it from there.
- How long does a replacement take?
Replacements go through the same process as new orders — 1–2 days processing, then 3–5 days shipping. We’re based in California, so west coast orders arrive faster.
- Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are issued at our discretion for verified defects or order errors when a replacement isn’t the right solution. We handle things case by case — just reach out and we’ll work it out.
